A Holland lop lives from 7 to 10 years. It eats hay, pellets, veggies, and fruits. It is very friendly and kind, muscular though, relative to their compact stature.

Fur - Coat |
Similar to most other Rabbits, the Holland Lop's fur is very diverse in colours, for example light orange (also called fawn), a mix between blue and grey, many different shades of grey (mostly luminous), dark brown (chocolate) - which is distributed evenly across the Holland Lop's fur. Among other colours are luminous brown (resembles a squirrel), white with red eyes - which is known as albino rabbits, and dark orange (this colour is very rare among Holland Lop bunnies).

Body - Head, Tail |
A Holland Lop's ear is one of its most distinctive features, which is about 12 cm (4.7") long. They inherited their ears from French Lop and Sooty Fawns, from what their bred. Their body is small and compact, and their feet are short and stubby. Their eyes are usually black but can be brown or other colours. Their tail is small, but sturdy and fluffy.

Health - |
The Holland Lop is a breed of rabbits that is healthy and simple to care for, because mostly it only needs only basic hair grooming. There are no hereditary diseases unique to a Holland Lop, but still can suffer from other common rabbit diseases. They are an active breed that need a lot of physical stimulation and playtime to be happy and healthy pets. Holland Lop bunnies need weekly grooming in order to prevent intestinal blockages that can occur during self-grooming. Additional grooming is needed during the 2 weeks of molting. Nails should be trimmed monthly.
